We are still hanging in there. Thanks to everyone concerned about the babies. They are doing a lot better. They are still a little stuffy, but they are getting big (relatively speaking!) They are almost 7 lbs. now. They still just eat, sleep, and poop, and I'm grateful for that. I'm a little nervous for the stage when they need to be held and entertained all day. How will that work? I guess I'll find out! We are still aware of RSV season and so all visitors have to wash hands, and wear masks. It makes for some pretty funny photos. We have a lot of pictures with our whole family wearing the stylish medical masks! Enjoy!

Is Winter Over Yet?
Who has babies in the middle of the winter? We do...and we've done it twice. The difference is that with Addison we lived in Las Vegas and not in the middle of a frozen winter wonderland. I really love living in Idaho, BUT this winter has been a tad long and intense for me. We have all been sick lately and the result of all of that sickness was that the babies ended up with RSV. We took them to the ER on the 4th because they were having a hard time breathing. We just got discharged from the hospital today...the 14th. Yes, that's right 10 long days in the hospital with newborns. I slept there every night and only went home briefly three times to see the girls. Brandon came every night after work and spent almost every night at the hospital too. When he didn't stay the night my sister Brooke did. The babies were on oxygen the whole time and had to have their tiny noses suctioned out. Not fun! We were really lucky it wasn't worse though. I'm sick of hospital food and I've even had my fill of HGTV for awhile (if you can believe it!) Today the babies are 4 weeks old and have only spent 2 weeks at home. Avery weighs 6 lbs. 2 oz. and Aiden 6 lbs. 3 oz. Well, we're just glad to finally be home! The moral of the story is...don't have babies during RSV season.
